From the Field

Diamond View Labradors Hunt

Jerry is a lifelong waterfowl hunter and has always enjoyed training his own dogs.

I grew up hunting quail and dove in South Carolina with my Dad and older brothers. My Dad trained our pointers and setters, and loved seeing a good dog work.

We hunt our Labradors because I love to see Labradors work and fulfill the purpose of a retrieving gun dog.

The dogs love to hunt and so do we.

To the Show Ring

Diamond View Labradors at the Show

We enjoy showing and feel that it is an objective professional opinion about the quality of our dogs as it compares to others competing on

that day according to the AKC standard for Labradors.

This helps guide us in our breeding program to produce sound and correct Labradors that you can enjoy as your family companion.

To the Hunt Tests

Diamond View Labradors participate in AKC Hunt Tests

Hunt test are a great indicator of what a dog is capable of doing in the field on an actual hunt. Training these dogs for hunt tests requires our dogs to perform the required elements for that testing level to receive a pass toward their title. AKC Hunt Title levels are Junior Hunter, Senior Hunter, and Master Hunter.

We have met some wonderful friends from all over, and had lots of fun preparing for and competing.

Diamond View Labradors Make Great Companions

We love our Labradors and think of them as family. Each of our dogs have lots of space to run and play outside, but also get house time.  We enjoy our Labradors to the fullest.

The Labrador is smart, easily trained, and a loyal friend for life. They bring us tremendous joy. If you have had one, then you understand this; if not, you’re missing out.

A Diamond View Labrador is ready to do it all!
